DAVID MUIR

David qualified as a Building Surveyor in 1989 and his experience since has been primarily in the fields of Project Management and Design.

His roles in projects have varied and include: the project management of a £2.5million new build house and outbuildings; relocation of a high tech company into new production and office premises in Oxford, design/project management for conversion of Victorian offices into a childrens’ nursery; planned maintenance surveys of Customs and Excise buildings and London Magistrates Courts.

He has led building surveying teams involved in, amongst others; project management of several Formula 1 factory sites and the 3 phase refurbishment of laboratories at Oxford Brookes University.

STEPHEN ROBERTS

Stephen qualified in 1991 and has over 18 years professional experience in project building surveying duties and facilities management across a range of property types.

Tasks carried out include the management of a £30m Care Home refurbishment and development program, together with designing and establishing a facilities management program for 31 Care Homes prior to setting up Roberts Muir; providing dilapidations, preaquisition survey, project management and design advice for office premises in Rickmansworth; technical and professional advice for a £7m residential development in Hampstead; project management and other advice for the 3 phase, £1.25m refurbishment of offices in a Grade II listed building in Central London; the design and project management for the reinstatement of various fire and flood damaged premises.

In addition he has provided extensive professional advice as listed in the 'survey' and 'expert advice' section of 'services'.
